A Weekend at Loews Royal Pacific Resort With Universal Orlando

Last month, Lantz and I had the chance to stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort in partnership with Universal Orlando! In addition to our hotel stay, we had the opportunity to visit each of the Universal parks and act like little kids again. 

It was such an awesome weekend getaway, and I couldn't believe how amazing the resort was! Since it was during the holiday season, the tropical hotel was adorned with festive decorations and elaborate Christmas trees in every area! 

The hotel vibe was amazing! Upon entering, we were greeted with an "Aloha" and given a colorful lei to wear around the resort. The bedrooms were a mix of modern and tropical decor, sticking with a neutral palette and allowing the beautiful wall mural behind each bed to steal the show. We had a a view overlooking the pool area, which gave us a great view of the rest of the hotel grounds. 

During our stay, we also had the chance to enjoy their in-house restaurant, Jake's American Bar. We were invited to attend Jake's Beer Dinner - a 5-course meal with unique brew pairings from Cigar City Brewery. The dishes were absolutely scrumptious! My favorite of them all was the short rib in a horseradish potato puree, and the spiced pumpkin bread pudding for dessert!

The next two days we spent exploring Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We scurried around the parks going from ride to ride, enjoying some of our favorite places that we visited when we were kids. Of course, the days would not have been complete without starting off with a delicious lunch at Universal CityWalk. A very big THANK YOU to the Universal Orlando Public Relations Team for treating us to an incredible meal at Cowfish Sushi and Burger Bar. 

When I tell you all that this was some of the best sushi I've ever had... The SIZE, flavor and variety options for specialty rolls was remarkable! I also highly recommend the Crab Rangoon dip and any of their milkshake flavors! You'll thank me later. I didn't get the chance to try any of the burgers, but the ones I saw on the tables nearby were drool-worthy.

The hotel was so convenient for exploring the parks and visiting Universal CityWalk. There are so many perks you receive for staying at one of the Universal Orlando hotels including, fast passes, parking and shorter security lines into the parks. We loved having a fast pass right on our room keys - we didn't have to carry large bags into the park and we saved a ton of time waiting on the popular rides!

If you're heading to the Orlando area any time in the near future, I can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff was so friendly and made our experience inside and outside of the resort so wonderful. I can't wait to return to the area for another weekend getaway and experience the Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Universal Orlando Resort parks again!
