Gems From Kelsea Treasures

It's no secret that I am a sucker for jewelry.

Earrings. Rings. Necklaces. Bracelets. I love all the little trinkets I can get my hands on.

So when Kelsey - the creator of KelSea Treasures - reached out to me about trying some of her jewelry, you know I was all over it. But, my excitement probably doubled after I had the chance to check out her Etsy shop! Her designs are EXQUISITE and completely hand-crafted. While many can be skeptical about the quality of some handmade jewelry, there's no need to worry when it comes to KelSea pieces. With a multitude of stones and styles to choose from, I'm sure you will find the perfect addition to your jewelry box.

The beautiful blue hue of this quartz necklace fit my style perfectly! I'm a lover of wearing neutrals all the time - I'm not opposed to living in denim/boyfriend cutoffs and soft over-sized tees. Sounds dreamy, doesn't it? If I'm not wearing neutrals, I usually love to wear a printed bottom or dress. You'll usually spot me in black, white, blue and green. So, when I saw this color, I was delighted!

Kelsey's necklaces are perfect lengths, whether looking for a piece to graze your collar bone or as a long layer over a tee. Did I mention she also makes bracelets? Talk about a perfect topper for your arm party or a great pairing with your favorite watch.

Check out a few of my favorites from her shop:

Three simple blue stones on gold wire and gold chain

Cluster blue turquoise stone necklace on gold chain

Small red-wire wrapped stone bracelet on gold chain

Colored bead bracelet on gold chain - Featured on the blog, Welcome to my Walk-In
As if her staple color options and designs aren't enough, Kelsey also creates custom designs relating to collegiate teams, sorority life, or just your favorite colors.

Here's a little more info about how Kelsey chooses her stones and finds inspiration:
"Some of the stones I use are really simple, smooth ones that I use to keep the price reasonable - after all, that was my own purpose of making it myself to begin with. I didn't want to sell something I wouldn't find reasonably priced myself. Then I became obsessed with finding little niche gem and bead stores in Orlando, and became a frequent shopper. I'm now more interested in the look of quartz and other stones. Personally, my inspiration is nature and the ocean. I'm mostly attracted to the blue stones, and the first one I made is shaped like a shark's tooth. Of course, not everyone wants blue stone necklaces, so I've made a lot of other looks as well, some using charms. Just last week I had to make an FSU-inspired necklace and it turned out really cute!"
So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to her Etsy shop and snag yourself a handmade gem from KelSea Treasures!

I think the blue and coral hues are perfect for summer, what about you?
