The Venetian & The Palazzo

No, I didn't fall off the face of the planet... I'm back from a short break with a full blogging schedule ahead!

Ohhh my friends, the time has finally come to bid farewell to The University of Florida and my college years. With finals over and graduation tomorrow, I'm finally able to get back into the swing of things and finish sharing photos/stories from my Las Vegas trip!

If you know me, you know that my dream has always been to travel around Europe, especially France, Italy and Spain. Needless to say, I spent extra time in those Vegas hotels that let me escape into a European reality for just a bit.

The exterior of The Venetian hotel is stunning, but it's nothing compared to what's inside. Ceilings covered with Renaissance paintings, elaborate lighting pieces and unique floor tiles await inside the Venetian hotel. Here's a few images from around the hotel:

My inner 4-year-old came out to play as soon as I realized that gondola rides inside and outside of the hotel were available to ride. I don't know about you, but a relaxing ride on one of these babies while listening to angelic Italian music (yes, the gondolier sings during the ride) just seemed like a perfect extra activity to get off my feet for a little bit.

But, after making your way through the hotel, you will come face-to-face with the entrance to The Palazzo hotel - where these beautiful blossoms were photographed. When I heard that they had a flower display, I obviously hustled my way there. Yeah, I'm one of those freaks that loves flowers and plants and all that jazz.

What I found in front of me, nestled just on the edges of The Venetian shopping area, was this beautiful display:

How cute is this little gal?!?!?!?! If only I had her eyelashes....

How many pictures of flowers can a girl take? Well, in my case, A LOT. #noshame

Flowers on flowers on flowers, all day long. Or, at least until my parents say enough is enough and we've gotta keep moving... *sigh*

But, readers, the real floral fantasy is yet to come! Wait until you see the breathtaking images from The Bellagio's Conservatory and more!

Hope you're all having a wonderful Friday, and have an even better weekend!

BRB time to graduate!!!
xx,
B
