Botanical Adventures

After studying for a week straight and craving some fresh air, I spent a portion of this past weekend exploring the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, Fla., with my gal pal, Kelsey – after making a pit stop at Bay Island Coffee Company on the way, of course.

A large labyrinth, giant lily pads, bundles of bamboo and exotic flowers surrounded us as we made our way through the different areas of the 62-acre garden space. Miniature waterfalls nestled in the Water Garden area, natural sinkholes and the vinery also caught our attention. It was a typical, blazing Florida day. But, underneath all the greenery, it was peaceful and inviting – a perfect combination after the stressful week we had both endured.

It was such a fun day (and a wonderful break) with my main gal. A little fresh air is always good for the soul, right?
Stay tuned for all the new stuff coming to N2N SO SOON!
xx, B
