SMORGASBURG + BROOKLYN BRIDGE

We ventured out of the city for our last day together and toured a bit of the Brooklyn area. The first thing on our to-do list that day was to eat our hearts out at Smorgasburg – a Brooklyn flea food market. It was absolutely delicious.

A tip for navigating the food market: Take a lap and browse all of the food selections before making your decision. There are a TON of delicious choices from different vendors. And, especially for those that only accept cash (which is a majority of them), you should be sure that you get what you’re craving!
There’s so many unique options including ramen burgers, fruity drinks, gourmet sandwiches and ice cream flavors. I tried some fresh strawberry limeade, bacon and cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese, and a salted caramel and coffee ice cream sandwich. They were SO yummy!

After we stuffed our bellies with food, we made our way over to the Brooklyn Bridge. Who can visit the Brooklyn area and not want to walk over that bridge, right? Sexy and the City lovers, you know what I mean. It was a perfect day to look out over the bridge for some fantastic views!

I’m back in paradise for a couple of days. Stay tuned for Fourth of July treat ideas coming tomorrow on the blog!
