Continuing the recap of my first few days in NYC, my mother and I had a lovely afternoon at The Plaza Hotel for some afternoon tea and treats!
It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon  – the days prior were rainy and cloudy – we couldn’t have asked for a nicer day to be walking around Central Park South. When we arrived at The Plaza, we admired the gold details that adorned the entrance of the hotel. Think back to the fabulous Eloise at The Plaza film… it looks even more stunning in person.
Once inside the hotel, we loved the crystal chandeliers and beautifully painted walls and ceilings that covered the lobby and Palm Court area where we dined for afternoon tea.

If you’re planning a trip to NYC, I highly recommend making a reservation for tea at The Plaza. If the yummy sandwiches and sweets don’t call your attention, then the simply beautiful atmosphere will. For tea package choices, my mother and I chose to share The New Yorker (it had a great sandwich and dessert selection!) and the Kosabei Estate Natural Dryer Mouth green tea (it was fabulous!).
Don’t forget that business casual attire is preferred at The Plaza and definitely make a reservation if you’re planning on stopping in for tea. You can view the afternoon tea menu here.

Have a lovely Sunday, readers!
